A calculator you can inspect.
Palpath uses a bundled 299-Pal dataset and 250 special-recipe records. All breeding calculations run in your browser, with no account or server API. The source snapshot is labeled Palworld 1.0 and was generated July 14, 2026; it is not a live feed or an official Pocketpair guarantee.
Data provenance
Ranks, names, work suitability, rarity, recipe conditions, and internal priority come from the PalworldBreeding game-data export, originally extracted from palworld.gg. Rank changes and the 1.0 tie convention were cross-checked with the Palworld knowledge-base breeding data. Images are local copies of game portraits from the first repository; artwork and game trademarks belong to Pocketpair.
Version differences matter
The older 10โ1500 rank range and older Paldeck numbers do not describe this snapshot. For example, Anubis is #139 with power 480, and Chikipi has power 3080. The engine keeps the requested floor((A + B + 1) / 2) formula and lower-indexOrder tie-break. The importer defines indexOrder as 1,000,000 minus source combiPriority to preserve the source's higher-priority winner.
What each result means
Special-only Pals are excluded from the generic pool. Same-species breeding takes priority for breedable species, then special recipes, then nearest-rank matching. Sex-specific Katress/Wixen recipes are modeled explicitly. Reverse lookup includes all valid unordered pairs and labeled sex conditions.
The path finder uses layered breadth-first exploration of species available from owned Pals. It minimizes generation depth up to five, rather than total cake count. Both parents must be available in an earlier generation. Compatible sexes, reuse of parents, and sufficient individuals are assumed. Displayed cakes count the unique breeding steps in the chosen tree, not retries for sex or traits.
Egg labels indicate the first-element egg family; sizes are not sourced and are not fabricated. The early-game list is a rarity heuristic, not a location or availability guarantee.
Odds and timer limitations
Passive odds are conditional hypergeometric estimates for a user-selected inherited-slot count. The editable roll probability is illustrative and is not a verified 1.0 distribution. IV odds use a baseline 30% parent A, 30% parent B, 40% uniform-reroll scenario, excluding cake bonuses and special mutation effects. Mutation estimates use the requested 1% base / 3% Extravagant rate. Species-specific mutation candidates are not included. Farm estimates assume continuous uptime, the entered base duration, and additive Philanthropist speed bonuses.
Corrections and updates
Replace data/paldeck.json with the typed Pal array and update data/specialCombos.json together. Run the tests and rebuild static pages after any data change. Import instructions and deployment configuration are in the project README.
